New
Life Church, Midanbury, was established in July
1999 with three families. God gave Pastor Paul and Julia a vision
to see a church planted in the very needy area of Midanbury/Townhill
Park, and indeed they moved home into the area in 1993 in readiness
for the outworking of God's plan and purpose.
We are a
non-denominational, Bible believing church. Our heart is to
see the world wide church, and the church here in Southampton
grow and expand, and to see many men, women, boys and girls
come to know the Lord Jesus as their personal Saviour. We believe
God is the "same yesterday, today and forever", and
the things Jesus Christ did in the Bible, He still does today
through His Holy Spirit.
Our
meetings are signed for deaf people, and we have three excellent
interpreters in the fellowship. |

Our
aims and aspirations for the fellowship are as follows:
-
To
preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the Eastern side of
the city with a particular emphasis in the area of Midanbury,
Townhill Park, Bitterne Park, Chartwell Green and West End.
-
To
see people saved and set free from addictions and other
things that hold them by the power of the Holy Spirit.
-
To
see God continue to establish a Bible believing church empowered
by the Holy Spirit where we can minister to each other and
to people in the community who do not attend church.
-
The
church body to operate in, and desire the gifts of the Holy
Spirit.
-
To
see a local centre (building) established in Midanbury/Townhill
Park to be used for God's work and as an outreach and help
to the community.
